The Water Wars

by Cameron Stracher

I have a confession to make.

Occasionally, I can’t finish a book.

For some reason, this is one of those. I got so close too! There are probably 3-5 chapters left and this book is sitting on the floor of the car being unloved. Instead of reading this I moved on to The Kid Table and never looked back.

This book has all the elements of something I should love. It’s set in a futuristic world with kid characters defeating the odds. There are interesting characters that are introduced throughout the book and I really have no idea how it ends.

And yet, I think I’m done with it. If any of you ever read it, let me know how it is. Maybe I should try again.

So I wouldn’t recommend it, but I don’t know that I should not recommend it. It’s one of those weird things that I can’t explain. It’s like how you connect with some people immediately and others you never wrap your head around.
